Teens ages 15-16 can participate our new Counselors in Training program!
Have fun, make friends and learn Leadership Skills at camp. Teen Leadership Adventure encourages outdoor exploration and leadership skill development through three unique and fun programs. Participants take part in fun outdoor games, make friends, complete a service project, and lead younger campers in activities. Camp is a great way for the teen in your life to take the lead!
About the Programs:
Staff will interact, alongside teens in outdoor exploration and a service project in Warner Parks to raise awareness, foster respect and share enthusiasm for the natural environment. The teen campers will also lead an 'All Camp Game' (ie. Wacky Olympic or Scavenger Hunt) for Camp Warner Park's younger campers near the end of the week.
Leaders in Training (Grades 7-9) campers ease into the responsibilities of being a leader while also enjoying camp program electives as senior campers do. While transitioning from camper to leader, participants are encouraged to be creative, think outside the box and take initiative. Participants learn about and practice effective leadership skills, such as teamwork, goal setting and decision-making- skills useful in their life.
Counselors in Training (Grades 10-11) is an advanced, selective program for teens looking to take their responsibility to the next level. Counselors in Training campers are expected to be true leaders in our camp community by demonstrating kindness, caring, respect and leadership. The program is designed for motivated teens looking to challenge themselves and gain hands on experiences. The Counselor in Training Program is a commitment towards making a difference in the lives of others, and inspires participants to become dynamic leaders.
